There are many challenges facing users of information technology. Some of these challenges are “real” in the sense that equipment may fail and learning to use software competently may take some time.
Other challenges may be created by the people who we turn to for help.
If I was to tell you that your email sending problem was caused by an SMTP incompatibility problem with your ISP not allowing relay thereby causing a 553 error, it is likely that you would look at me with a somewhat blank stare.
If instead I told you that the road the email is taking when being moved from one post office to another has been blocked, you would have a better chance of understanding the problem.
